Frequently asked questions
We’re happy to help you choose the right plan. Check out our FAQs for answers to the most common questions.
Only users with administrator rights have functionality to increase payments limits. Go to internet bank and on the right top press on settings button.
If you have administrator rights but you do not see the “Change limits and permissions” button in the “Limits and permissions” section, then write a message to the Bank by clicking on the envelope icon in the right corner of the internet bank window. In the message, please specify the account number, currency, the amount of the limit you want to change to and the name of the limit (e.g. payment, day, month).
The Bank allows clients to set a maximum amount that can be transferred via instant payment. The default limit set by the Bank is 15,000 EUR. This limit can be changed in the internet bank section “Settings” -> “Limits and permissions”, or by writing a message to the Bank.
To ensure the security of client funds, the Bank recommends setting a limit that reflects your individual needs.
The instant payment limit can only be set or changed by a user with administrator rights. The limit is set at the user level and applies to all accounts.
An instant payment may be rejected if the payee’s payment service provider does not accept instant payments or if the payment cannot be completed within the time frame defined by legal regulations. This may occur due to mandatory data checks performed by the payer’s or payee’s payment service providers, or due to technical issues.
You can make an instant payment via an internet bank by selecting “New Payment”, using the bulk payments section, or by writing a message to the Bank and submitting a payment request.
Before confirming a SEPA, instant, or internal bank payment, the system compares the payee’s name, surname, or company name you entered with the data held by the payee’s payment service provider. The result is provided within a few seconds after entering the payee’s details.
Upon receiving the result:
Match – you can proceed with the payment.
Close match – a corrected version of the payee’s name or company name is provided in the result message. If it doesn’t look right, or you’re not sure, do not confirm the payment and contact the beneficiary to check their details.
No match – the account may belong to a different person. We recommend contacting the payee to confirm the correct account holder’s name or company name before proceeding.
Verification not possible – the service may be temporarily unavailable, or another issue may have occurred. Try again later or check whether the payee’s service provider currently supports verification of payee service.
This service is free of charge, however some Business customers submitting payment instructions as a batch (bulk payments) prefer to opt out of verification of payee service. This can be done in the internet bank section “Settings” -> “Bulk payments settings”.

What are the payment fees and deadlines?
Shared costs (SHA): the payer pays the SME Bank’s fees and the recipient pays the fees of the other banks (in certain cases, the recipient may receive a lower amount if agreed with their payment service provider). The transfer is made on the same working day if the payment order is submitted:
in EUR, GBP, USD until 3 PM;
in DKK, SEK until 11 AM;
in CZK, PLN until 9 AM.
in NOK until 2 PM.
When we execute a payment order, we transmit to the recipient’s bank the information provided in the payment order. The Bank is not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the payment.
A payment order submitted after the specified hours or on a non-business day of the Bank will be executed on the next business day of the Bank or currency.
